Paper Daisy (everlasting daisy)

A native to Australian woodlands (yellow in the wild), this was cultivated in Germany to produce a wonderful range of different colors. Now it can be found all over the world.

After thunderstorms, these appear over vast swathes of meadows and poorer land.  The flowers dry quickly, and because it is dry and seems to last forever.
