Moon shots

Getting a bit of practice in for tomorrow nights red moon.  These shots are with a 12" Dobsonian which will require some serious collimation before tomorrow (note the edges of the first shot are out of focus - a result of the large telescope mirror being slightly out of alignment.  Another mistake - I left the Automatic White Balance on - will try to set it to pick up more surface detail.  Finally - these shots were all free hand - the finals will be with the telescope locked in its cradle.




When trimmed and merged with other pictures - a slightly better result.
