Molonglo Doctor

Late each afternoon, a moisture laden breeze from the East Coast comes over the tops of the Great Dividing Range and onto the Molonglo High Plains bringing a sudden (short lived) gust of wind, a cool change and, sometimes, clouds and soft rain.

The 'Molonglo Doctor' can drop summer temperatures by 10 to 20 degrees, and replenishes the small streams that flow into the Molonglo River system.

Any afternoon, the sea breeze and, on one afternoon,
the moon as the breeze comes onto the high plains.
