Superb Fairy-Wren

A tiny bird - its body about half the size of my fingers - it goes by the name of Blue Wren, Superb Warbler, and Bluecap.

I have had a little difficulty getting pictures of this family - the females have kept the group well guarded and out of my reach.  In the last week, they have stopped singing, and I wondered if they had moved away from the farm house and down to the creek.

This morning I spotted them, and the reason for them becoming quiet.
