A large number live by Canberra’s lakes in the ornamental gardens.
Lake George top swamp land - June 2014
These are dredging this swamp at the top of Lake George – occasionally standing on one leg to bring grasses or twigs to the surface or to do a standing dance with ruffled feathers if they find a worm.
