Bemboka River - Monaro and South Coast New South Wales
The Bemboka River rises near to the town of Nimmitabel and flows to the Bega River. Over 30 kilometers, it drops almost a kilometer through waterfalls and rough terrain.
This was the isolated and desperate place in the 1860's - it harbored a number fleeing justice.
