Nevertire

I went to primary school in a small 4-teacher school at Nevertire - a small village in central New South Wales, Australia.  A reunion is being held for the school and I have published my fathers photos from that time here.

I love the look of the school residence. That's my kind of house. :)

It is a harsh environment, blisteringly hot in Summer with raging red dust storms. At six I was allowed to walk to the railway tracks a mile from the old school. We played a game of dare - leaving a half-penny on the rail-track for as long as we thought they would be cool enough to pick up. Lost a lot to heat :) Inside the house it was always cool and safe - good memories.
